Dr Sian Loe - New Joiner

Following Dr Jenkins decision not to return to practice at the end of her maternity leave at the end of December 2017 we are delighted to announce that Dr Sian Loe has already joined us and as she settles in will be taking over Dr Jenkins's patient list.

Dr Jenkins - Maternity Leave

Many of you will already be aware that Dr Jenkins is currently pregnant.  She will be finishing work during July. Dr Jenkins has made the decision to extend her maternity leave and not return to the practice after her baby is born.  Being a GP Partner is demanding, especially when young children are involved and Dr Jenkins has decided to focus on her family for the time being.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Jenkins had a healthy and gorgeous baby girl.  Both are doing really well.

Dr Sarah Plimmer Leaver

Sadly, as many of you will know, Dr Plimmer left the on 5 December and is taking a break from daily general practice.  She will carry out the odd locum session for us but her registered patients will need to be assigned a new doctor.  Most of the patients will be moved to either Dr Atab’s list or Dr Swarna’s list.

Temporary Changes to MK Hospital Access - Feb 2018

During the building works being undertaken at MKUH some temporary changes to road access have been put in place.  Please follow the link at the bottom of our website for more information.

MJog Messenger

MK Clinical Commissioning Group has provided all practices in Milton Keynes with a new SMS service called MJog Messenger.  You will receive a message advising you about MJog and providing you with a link to download the App.

MJog Messenger is a free app for patients allowing quick and easy two-way communications with their Practice. The familiar user interface means patients will be able to use the app straight out of the box, providing patients with a convenient way to manage appointments, be alerted about services and receive reminders from their surgery. PIN authentication can be enabled to grant peace of mind for your patient.

There is no cost for Patients to use the MJog Messenger App – it is free to download with no message costs.

Simple to use app – MJog Messenger is self explanatory with clear details including links and buttons to complete app interactions – familiar and recognisable styling.

More informative messages for Patients, compared to SMS, with styled text and images allowing for clear and branded Practice communications.

Convenient communications – app provides a straightforward view of documents including pdfs and letters the practice sends via the app which is delivered to one device (accessible across multiple).

Easy access – it’s a simple process to cancel appointments in ‘one click’, provide feedback to FFT, or complete patient surveys.

Informative, relevant and efficient communications received – letter, pictures, links etc. all contained in one message.
